Common Questions
Do I have to start with The Assessment?
Yes. Every engagement begins with the $250 College Fit Assessment — it's how Maggie builds your student's profile before any ongoing work begins. The fee is credited toward your first month of any plan.
Can I change plans?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at the start of any billing month. Most families move up as their student gets closer to senior year and the process intensifies.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes — 3 months minimum on any plan. After that, you can cancel with 30 days written notice.
What counts as a "document review"?
Essays, college application drafts, financial aid award letters, school comparison summaries, and any written material Maggie is asked to read and respond to in detail.
What if we go over the monthly hour cap?
Additional time is billed at $75/hour, invoiced at the end of the month. Maggie will flag it before it happens so you're never surprised.
Is this only for student-athletes?
No. All three plans are built for any motivated student going through the college search — the process is the same whether your student plays a sport or not.
